Organised by LINK DMT at Fondazione Zanandrea in Cento, this 3-day national training course brought together 15 youth workers, educators, social workers and NGO representatives from Northern and Central Italy. The activity represented the Italian piloting phase of the SEOywd Curriculum on accessible digital educational content and activities.
Participants explored digital accessibility principles, legal frameworks and assistive technologies through practical demonstrations and hands-on exercises. Screen readers, colour contrast tools and accessibility plugins were tested in smaller working groups. A particular highlight was the practical session on adapting existing educational materials, where participants revised presentations, registration forms and worksheets from their own organisations. The training motivated many participants to initiate concrete accessibility improvements within their organisations following the course.
