Outreach Hannover organised a 3-day national training course with 15 youth workers, social inclusion practitioners and project coordinators from Hannover and surrounding regions. The activity represented the German piloting phase of the SEOywd Curriculum, with particular emphasis on organisational implementation of accessibility principles.
Participants brought examples of educational materials and online resources from their own organisations and worked on adapting them during practical sessions. Screen readers, subtitle tools, accessibility plugins and colour contrast applications were tested and discussed in relation to daily youth work practice. The group demonstrated strong motivation to move beyond technical compliance and integrate accessibility into organisational culture and long-term planning. Several participants committed to revising websites, dissemination materials and Erasmus+ project resources following the training.
