CNELL organised a 3-day training course in Novi Sad for 17 youth workers, teachers, pedagogical assistants and NGO practitioners from Novi Sad, Belgrade and several smaller communities across Serbia. The training represented the Serbian piloting phase of the SEOywd Curriculum and had a strong practical focus suited to participants approaching digital accessibility for the first time.

Through simulations, group discussions and practical exercises, participants explored how inaccessible digital environments affect young people with different abilities. Assistive technologies including screen readers, contrast tools and subtitle applications were tested and discussed in relation to everyday youth work practice. The adaptation of participants’ own educational materials was particularly appreciated, with many participants leaving with concrete plans to revise their online resources and integrate accessibility into future Erasmus+ activities.
